T3.3 Friday, 17th April, 2020


Hi everyone. Welcome back to our Day 5 of Week 3 of Virtual learning!  

Today is Friday so we have slight changes to our tasks. We are going to have a LIVE assembly at 10.30 am and at 9:30 am for LIVE Mandarin and Malay lesson. Hence, for our spelling today, we are going to have it straight away after our registration. Kindly go to Mrs Chiam’s Zoom Id (5665977349) for the registration.

2nd group (Basheera, Kristan, Nuh, Param and Vlada) will have their spellings at 8:30 am on T.Dave’s Zoom ID (7588339874)                           .

We will not meet at 11am.

Tasks for Friday:

1)    LIVE Assembly at 10:30 am
2)    Live Mandarin / Malay at 9:30 am
3)    Literacy/Spelling – Spelling will be conducted after registration; 2nd group to meet T.Dave at 8:30 am. Please complete all your previous literacy task and send it in today.
4)    Phonics – Teach your monster how to read
5)    Maths  WALT: Recap add and subtract 11 or more
Instructions: Roll two dice (1-4) to get a 2-digit numbers. Then, form number sentences by adding 12, 13, 14. You can use number line or 100 square to help you with the calculation. Repeat 5 times.
                        Eg: 16 + 12 =               16 – 12 =
Task A: Add and subtract 12 (Vlada, Param, Kristan, Nuh, Basheera)
Task B: Add and subtract 13 (Lohven, Rafa, Liam, Jacob, Gen, Malak)
Task C: Add and subtract 15 (Aretta, Gareth, Hafiz, Ghufran, Sienna)

6)    Design and Technology – WALT: create sail boats using paper collage.


Christopher Columbus thought that he could sail to China and India by crossing the Atlantic Ocean. However, he was wrong as the Earth was much larger than he thought. Then, he found America between Europe and Asia. He set sailed with three ships named the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. So, your task today is to create a scene of his three ships sailing across Atlantic Ocean using paper collage method.
