Tasks for Wednesday:

1)    Continue practicing your spellings
2)    Dry Land Swimming (blog)
3)    Literacy  WALT: create a new toy box poem
Watch a video by Mrs Jodie and Mrs Kay from ISB BSB. They are going to make their first part of their new toy box poem.
4)    Phonics – Teach your monster how to read
5)    Maths  WALT: Subtracting bridging ten
Watch a video by myself before attempting the task below.
Instructions: Write 12 then roll a dice (1-8) Subtract the number on the rolled dice from 12. Write the number sentences as below. Repeat at least 5 times.
                        Eg: 12 – 8 =              
Task A: Write 11 and roll a dice (1-8) Vlada, Param, Kristan, Nuh, Basheera
Task B: Write 12 and roll a dice (1-8) Lohven, Rafa, Liam, Jacob, Gen, Malak
Task C: Start with 12 then 21 and roll a dice (1-8) Aretta, Gareth, Hafiz, Ghufran, Sienna

6)    Earth Day project – DIY toy car - Watch a video why we celebrate Earth day.

                 Here are some of the activities that you can do at home:

 

·       Talk to a relative or your family how the environment has changed over the years. Write your answers.
·       Design a poster regarding Earth Day;
·       Pick up trash on the beach/park or around the house. Take a picture and send through seesaw.
·       Make signs to put at home eg; ‘Save water’, “Turn off the light”, ‘reuse’ ‘recycle’ and others.
·       Create items using junk materials such as flower pots, pencil holders from plastic bottles or treasure chest using cardboard boxes.
·       Use old magazines and newspapers for art.
