Look at the Hickory Dickory Animal Picture Cards. Cut out the cards. Lay the cards down in the correct ‘story order’.  Read the rhyme again if you get stuck.

Science  (Let's continue our Science from yesterday!)


Science :  WALT: Classify invertebrates and vertebrates.

A vertebrate is an animal with a backbone. (An invertebrate is an animal without a backbone.) Fishesamphibiansreptilesbirds, and mammals, including humans, are all vertebrates. 

Invertebrates are animal with backbone or bony skeleton. They range in size from microscopic mites and almost invisible flies to giant squid with soccer ball size eyes. 

Let's watch a video about invertebrates and vertebrates.



Next, let's have a dominoes games with an adult or your friend. Cut the dominoes out. Then distribute the cards evenly among you and your partners. First player will put the first card out. Second player will match the picture with the words.

Art - WALT: Create minibeasts with finger paint.

Let's work on our fingers today. Watch a video how we can use our fingers to create minibeasts! 


Next, look at the minibeasts below. Look at their body parts then try to create one or more minibeasts on our art block! Don't forget to add in the details at the end!
